Another Aricari that was a pain to perm….all those teeensy little perm rods.I hadn’t had a lot of practice as a featherdresser before they came to town…but I think the 4th of July color scheme came out pretty nice, no?

Well, I’ve always known the people of Ballard Street were “self-organizing” – but now the plants. Must be something in the water.

“Self-Organizing”, bosh! It’s all Samantha’s doing!(or maybe Endora, Uncle Arthur, Serena, Esmeralda, or Aunt Clara) :-)

    Tomorrow’s fine, Bev…. how’s 3:46?

It’s a Sunday but I’m open regular hours cos YES I will be closed on the 4th…Sheesh… my usual open 6 days a week 10 till midnight plus by appointment only on Sunday isn’t enough that I can take off a few holidays? Now, I do want to be clear…a mani-pedi is fine…red white and blue hair is fine..glitter… of course…But…. just on the off chance you’d want one…I am NOT giving you a perm on smaller-than-Barbie-doll-size rods!It would take a week to roll, and the first time you brushed it out you’d have a Brillo pad.Even a glittery red white and blue Brillo pad would not suit you… trust me.

Bev!Of course! You’re such a good friend I’d wait till 3:57 if I had to.I can give you a perm if you really really want one…just no smaller than gray rods…those are “poodle cut” rods….or if I’m in a good mood, maybe “blue-haired old lady” blue rods.

Honestly, though…. you’ll be sorry with anything smaller than purple…These days I usually use purple, beige and orange rods.

The rods the birds brought were smaller than red rods, and about 3/4" long.

Don’t worry about the Monkey…he gets that way when there are firecrackers around. It’s a simian thing. Also a Sheriff thing. So he gets a double dose.Elvis, my dog car, and BatPug… in fact all the dogs, even Fenton… get pretty antsy too. They’ll all be fine by about the 10th, when the last naughty kids have set off the last of their hidden firecrackers.

Gosh, Bev…. how did you talk me into this?

Sorry you have to pay so much extra… but getting three little monkeys to help on a Sunday doesn’t come cheap you know…on top of the extra bananas, too.

    137 rods!

    Bev!You got a HUGE discount!

I wouldn’t even DO this for anybody else….and I only charged you your usual very discounted perm, color and glitter, then I added exactly what I paid the little monkeys for their services…sniffle….

Anyway, hold up this fan so I can post your picture on Ballard St….and smile!

    Cheese!
