Man: This looks like something that goes to something. Woman: Is it something we need? Man: Not until we throw it away and the something that it goes to breaks.
Sometimes that happens to me, I let it sit for at least a week, and if the source does not come up, I figure I’ll be okay without it and move on with my life.
Guy told the Readers Digest he once called up a repair help hotline after he took apart the dishwasher, put it back together, got it running with no leaks, but still had three screws left over after reassembling the unit. “Oh,” said the other end, “those are pocket screws.” “Pocket screws?” the man asked. “Yeah,” the voice replied. “If you put everything together and it all works the way it’s supposed to, but you have screws left over, just put those screws into your pocket.”
