So you’re saying, Mike, Lizzie is probably a neighbor girl?

Mike should get one week removed from his grounding penalty now just for being so darned funny. Good one, sir!

I think he almost kinda maybe gave her a compliment.

That was a left-handed compliment. Sisters will accept those from brothers.

Whether this might have been intended as a compliment would depend on where he put the emphasis in his statement. If he said ‘She looks too good to be MY sister, then maybe it was a compliment. But, judging by the expressions on Elly’s and Elizabeth’s faces, what he probably said was ‘She looks TOO GOOD to be my sister. And that second sentence isn’t a compliment, left handed or otherwise.

I remember getting all prettied up for 4 of my 5 older siblings’ weddings. I was too young to be a bridesmaid, but too old to be a flower girl (I was 9-11), so my job was to man the guest book, making sure everyone signed. I DID get to be a “jr. bridesmaid” at one of my sisters’, tho.

Kinda, sorta?

It’s a compliment,the best she will get from Mike for a few years at least.

I think Mike would agree with me that there are three genders in the human race: 1. Male2. Female and 3. kid sister…………

They weren’t about to leave him home alone. He might not stay in the house.
