I have seen several of the wedding party faint at the altar. Wasn’t the bride or groom. And…..bridesmaids in beautiful dresses, puking on them outside the reception building. Too many of the weddings I have been to don’t last. Georgia nd Uncle Creepy never had any kids that we know of, right?
My Cuddlebear and I never formally married, but we’ve been a couple since 1977 and living together since 1993. We’ve outlasted almost all of our friends who did marry and look forward to getting old together and taking care of each other.
Robyn & her cuddlebear may have had a wonderful life together, but as a “live-in”, they have no legal rights in each other’s lives. If he gets seriously ill and is in ICU, she doesn’t even have the right to visit (and vice versa). Unless he has a will, she will be cut out of his estate completely, which will greatly complicate things if they own property together. The best thing to do is get married. Second best is to make sure the paperwork giving each other power of attorney in all matters and have a will in place before something happens.

Must not be easy being the flower girl when weddings are more about the bridge… not even her maids and maid of honour.

Our flower girl sprinted down the aisle, our ring bearer had to be carried down. Of course he was only a year old…

Marrige is for the begetting of children and/or the consoldation of wealth – if you don’t have either or expect to have either – don’t do it!

At a friend’s wedding, flower girl wandered off on her trip and never did get down to the altar.
