Somehow reminds me of a “Calvin and Hobbes” strip where Calvin finds a quarter on the ground and he’s so mesmerized, he wonders if there are more lying around. (There was a time I found maybe $5 in change in a purse while working at the donation-receiving station where I work. People really need to check the pockets beforehand.)
True story: a few years back, I literally found a $20 bill blowing across a crosswalk filled with fast-moving traffic.I got the bill, don’t ask me how.

Oh. that prodigal kibble is the sweetest! When measuring out my dogs’ food I usually “lose” a kibble or two, my girl loves to hunt them down.

At a beach I saw someone find a $10 bill under 4’ of water. Working in mineral exploration, I did a proper survey of the area and found another $50.

Chaz didn’t “find” his own money in the same sense that Poncho discovered an object that Chaz (definitely not Poncho) had dropped.
Poncho has the right to drill!
