    Actually, any chair will do, just so long as you can do the job sitting down—even better than kneeling ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    I built my wife a potting table out of an old surgery gurney, so my wife would have somewhere to put the soil and all that stuff. She has to use the tailgate on my truck as a potting table because that cart is covered in “stuff”. I can’t win.Oh well. At least I tried.

    It’s actually shoes that don’t slip on mud, are comfortable and provide protection from whatever you are going to drop on your feet.

    My little bench w/green pad is great for potting, obviously, but also perfect for seating when deadheading or weeding in beds. The old back can’t do that half-bend any more!
