"Joe's Roastery" Rat: Zzzzz. Man: Pardon me, but I'm trying to - Rat: Get a cup of coffee. Because Americans have to go. Go. Go. Work. Work. Work. Well, not me...not anymore. Because I'm borrowing the custom of the siesta from Spain. They take a two-hour from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m...and they nap. And as a result they have balanced lives. And they're happy. Not insane over-caffeinated loons like you. Man: It's 9:30 a.m. Rat: I've expanded the custom to ten hours. Man: Perhaps I'll go. Go. Go. somewhere else. Pig: He does get up briefly to guzzle wine.

Coffee. It’s not considered a drug to my knowledge, but it should.

Uhh, hate to be the one to break this to you, Rat, but from 2:00 in the afternoon until 9:30 in the morning is more like nineteen-and-a-half hours, not ten….Best have some wine and then sleep off the shock of it all….

If 1968 was the dawning, then this must be the morning coffee break of the Age of Aquarius.

It’s actually 2:00 to 5:00. My daughter just got back from six weeks in Spain and is having trouble adjusting to no siesta! LOL

this must be like Rat’s 5th stint with Joe’s roaster.

Sisyphos, It COULD be ten hours… we don’t know how he adjusted it, and I’m guessing he STARTED EARLY. Sleeping from 2 p.m. until morning isn’t a siesta, really.
I think he started at 9:30 (or maybe 9, since he was already asleep), and will keep going until 6 p.m. (or 6:30), which would be nine hours.

Rat should not have interrupted the health inspector mid-sentence like that. His chances of receiving a passing grade were already looking grim.

“Wake me up before you go go. Don’t leave me hanging on like a yo-yo”
Pretty surprised nobody thought of that.
