At two cents a day, Emily Canellos-Simms owed Illinois's Kewanee Public Library $345.14 for a poetry book checked out in April, 1955- the world's largest fine for an overdue library book! Adam Rainer, of Graz, Austria, is the only person in medical history to have been classified as both a dwarf and a giant. The average adult rights by hand only about every 41 days!

So according to my calculations, Emily had that book for 17,257 days. Did she somehow forget she had the book these past 61 years?

Most libraries I have ever encountered stop the fine at the value of the book. And I also am an oddity as I write nearly every day.

HOW can he be both a giant and a dwarf?

I don’t know about the 41 day thing. Are they taking in account countries that don’t write at all? Otherwise I can’t believe that people don’t make shopping lists, or sign for a credit card purchase.

There was a library book that was borrowed in 1823, and returned in 1968. The fine was way more than the one for that other book.
