I am going to miss this strip. It was one of my favorites and remember when it started. Thank you Mr. Boreman for years of fun and tears. I hope you compile a book of the strip because I will buy it.
I am happy that LDL is home, with his family. But sad to see this strip go away. Would like to follow additional adventures around that farmstead. And Torti, we canʻt lose Torti. Iʻll buy the book, if it comes out, because I missed several YEARS of LDL adventures. Thank you Steve, for the short time I had with LDL. You are a sensitive and imaginative writer/cartoonist. Mahalo nui loa!!!
My favorite, most tear (tear-not fear) invoking strip was still this one from a few Halloweens ago. I, for a moment, had a “Twilight Zone” moment, where I imagined LDL had actually “passed on,” and was living in the afterlife but he didn’t know it… Yet.

Maybe they will set up a special “buzzard feeder” in their yard, to see that Buzz and his buddy are taken care of. :-)

But you know what? Think about it. For all his adventures, Little Dog it seems, was not all that far away from home the whole time he was lost.
