My frugal mother used to store used cooking oil in the fridge. One time she used an apple juice container & I took a swig right out if the bottle. Freaking out I asked my Mum what I had just drank and she replied “oil”. Well I of course assumed it was car oil and freaked out even more thinking death was imminent. Long story short, I no longer drink out of containers… ESPECIALLY in my mother’s kitchen!
