Just strolled in for a few. No injuries to speak of except being shocked by a Van de Graaff generator. Nothing a good short nap didn’t cure.

Sounds like we all need to head off for a vacation. Somewhere like the Outer Banks - oh wait…..

My aunt and uncle live just west of Raleigh. Hope Earl goes far enough offshore to not trash their neighborhood.

SmithRA…..good to hear from you! Our son and his family live just west of the Outer Banks in Raleigh. I’m sure they’re in for some blustery weather! I wouldn’t want to be in Kitty Hawk right now!!!!

Did I tell you that I got the book “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” by Julia Child for my birthday? I’m getting good at that!

Th only Rockies I know are the ones between my ears. Some have said I have a head that one can take for granite. But at least, as we used to say when I was in Massachusetts, dawn breaks over marble head.
