Ready, children? Here is tonight’s song!

There must be some way out of here, said the Joker to the Thiet. Too much confusion, I can’t get no relief. Busnessmen, they drink my wine. Plow men dig my earth. Nione will level own the vine, nobody upping it’e worth.

    Play it for them VistaBill!!

Slim…..that flower grows on a large bush in our front yard. Have no idea what it is, but the blossoms are about 4 inches in diameter, and very pretty.

ML…… I thought you might like that, “Tower Flower”, too.

If it’s near a desert area, it night be a beacon for people who are lost in the wastelands??

MontanaLady, at first I thought it was Portland Head Light, then I saw no outbuildings. I’ve seen a lot of lighthouses in my time, but all (except this one) were next to an ocean. LOL. There was one in “Twolights” Maine that was a “folly”. The other one was official, while this one was part of someone’s house. Still near the ocean, though.

BTW, from the other day, while my husband is working in Vegas, he lives in our RV and comes home on week-ends. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Vv to LV, and he goes against the week-end traffic from LA instead of having to battle with it. Minimum 6 months with a possibility of a 3 to 6 month extension.

Sorry, guys I still haven’t figured out how to post a picture of Alaska here for you. We rode a train from Skagway up White’s Pass to Canada. It was the route the gold miners took to the Yukon. Canada would not allow anyone to enter their country unless they were carrying a ton (literally) of supplies to see them through 6 months. It was so common for men to buy or hire horses and mules to carry their stuff, and then work them to death on the way up the pass that there is an area called “Dead Horse Gulch”. It was so full of horse & mule carcasses that the miners had to climb over them in order to get further North. I am told that you can still find horse bones in that area.
