MontanaLady………..Do you have any kind of a program on your computer for working with pictures. You could crop them down to get a close-up of whatever part of the picture you want. That’s what I do.

I am fortunate enogh to have a fairly new edition of PhotoShop. I only know how to do a little of the possiblities,, but I can crop, sharpen focus and saturate the color and make a picture comm alive someti,es. Today’s avatar is an example. The original took in a lot more. It was cropped down to just the rose, sharpened and because the original was rather dull, i saturated the color to make it brighter.

Okay, Slim, I’ll try to see what I can do! Do you need a program to run Photo Shop???

MontanaLady…..PhotoShop is the program, and an expensive one, too. If I’d had to buy this one, I wouldn’t have it/ There are less expensive programs out there that can do the basics as well as PhotoShop. There are free ones as far as that goes, some of them pretty good. Should be fairly easy to find them. These programs can be fun to work with, and as long as you don’t say “save”, you can start over again, or go back a few moves and try again from there.

MontanaLady………. I also have Microsoft Picture it Photo Prenium 9 (it was on this computer when I bought it used). I also have Photoscape, which is free. I use the Microsoft program and PhotoShop almost exclusively.

Check for Photoscape, and you will likely see other free programs.

Well, it’s midnight here in T-town. Ever’body seems to have slipped away…….. To bed or whatever. I will be here for a while later this afternoon…….. But then………

Montana Lady: Here’s the Portland Head Light for you. Somehow I always remember that it has big red stripes. Oops.

Thanks, Jan….I love the Portland Head light! First time we saw it, was in January about 10 years ago. It was under a ton of snow, and there was a sign peaking out of the front area that said: Keep off the grass. That really cracked me up!

Almost noon here in T-town. Got up about half an hour ago. Should be rested up for tonight since I didn’t go tp bed til after three this morning!.
