JanCinVV…….. Back in, 1959, I would offer to take care of this woman’s baby for her so she could go out on weekends. I didn’t do it for the woman but, for the baby. She was only a few months old and the woman was not a very good mother. Mommy was bad about changing diapers, so………. When she’d brought the baby over and left. I’d fold up a blanket and lay it on the floor with pillows around it. Then I’d wash the baby’s bottom and rub talcum powder on it and let her lay on the blanket and dry get some air on herself/ I wouldn/t put another diaper on jer til I was expecting Moomy to be coming for her.

Took care of my sisters kids in the 60-61, until I headed up into the mountains and found Shirttail Creek.

In the late 80s and early 90s, I took care of my sister’s kid’s children., who totaled three boys and four girls.

Vista Bill did look like that in the early 70s, I’ve seen proof!

SWEETBILL………. I don;t have a great memory for names, I have a terrible time remembering them until I’ve embarrassed myself a few time, no guarantee then.

But I have pen and paper and know how to write dowm a list of names!!! :-)))

Slim, yesterday’s avatar was a Nasturtium. Never saw one, but grew a whole bunch this summer! Today’s avatar is the Point Loma light in San Diego.

Morning, ML. Gonna hit triple didits again today, and I have to go out there.for a while. Don’t have a vehicle, unless one refers to my walker?

Gave up my license last week as it would have expired on the 10th, anyway. Haven’t driven anything since 1998, so….. I now have a state ID card that doesn’t expire until I do. That should be a few more years. :-)))

Slim…..you’re good to go for another 20 or more!!!!

Hah! I didn’t have long sideburns and never wore sunglasses! You were quite a “looker” Marguerite!

ML, I bought the Song of the South DVD on EBay several years ago. That’s why I checked there to see if it was still offered. I suspect the powers-that-be figured out the DVD’s had to be bootleg and banned them from the site. They have several on VHS if you still have a player. I just did an online search and the following link has it on DVD: www.mayancastledvd.net. good luck
