How long since there were dinosaurs? 65 million years. But there might still be some around right? Let me see your notebook there. Ok, I'm making a li'l mark for each year of your life so far... And more marks for every year of my life... Plus every year since your granddad was born... Now just add marks tell there's 65 million- that's the years we don't have any dinosaur bones from. Ok! Boy, are those stupid dinosaurs all dead!

Pretty good way to bring home the concept of 65 million, but wouldn’t a simple “no” have sufficed?

Well, maybe you don’t find bones because they evolved into boneless dinosaurs, like the turkey’s in the store.

Not true! I have special sunglasses and can see the dinosaur people! They’re everywhere! Oh wait, those are birds….

The dinosaurs are just hiding. Check out “Dilbert” if you don’t believe me.
