HEY! Thank you for your input “DH” Fans! I’m more confused than EVER, but that’s nothing new. And the Pelican… well, he’s just beside himself. To see what the Pelican thinks about all this visit:

Tony: Yesterday’s Pelican was great. “Time’s up.”
When you moved the bird in, you moved from
mostly real life to fantasy. Many of the most
famous comics are fantasy with talking animals.
It is a broader picture and offers more opportunities.
Your whole question is in viewing a long future with
fantasy situations. I like them and much of the
world does. Kill the bird and you have shut down
a bundle of possibilities. Times up (I love it)
Oh, a wondrous bird is the pelican!
His bill holds more than his belican.
He can take in his beak
Enough food for a week.
But I’m darned if I know how the helican.

If the Pelican goes, I know that deserted corner on your way to work. I’m not some nut case, they released me 2 months ago. Keep da bird!

Sorry, we did like the pelican, but after he blew off the mom, it’s time for him to blow off!

Pelican’s beside himself? Does that mean there are TWO of them now? I’m not sure there’s enough room for in this strip for THAT much attitude.

comixrki: Is that Ogden Nash? I like it.

Bargrove: It’s often misattributed to Ogden Nash, but it’s actually Dixon Lanier Merritt. I like it too :)
