That second pitch was high.
Nate’s going down looking because Godfrey’s in his head and yes she stinks as an umpire.
Umps are supposed to call AND signal. The call should be made with authority (she’s got that part down, although the enunciation should be closer to “Hike” – it’s easier – try shouting “Strike” for 9 innings). But her arms are hanging like limp noodles. Like many umpires she doesn’t know what she’s doing.
