The right wing madness, yes 70 years ago the Dixiecrats were at hand, but they switched to the elephant ride in the ’60’s, was at one time on the other side, but not really. Those “Dixiecrats” we’re never “liberal” or open in their thinking, to new ideas or concepts, being locked into dogma and maintaining their “old way of life”, which is the very definition of conservative, no change, ever. Trump brought these ill-informed at best, back to the forefront, and embarrassed America around the world in the process. (YEs electing our first mullato POTUS had a lot to do with it, and the gunmakers, and maybe linen producers, benefitted greatly.)
