Cats are serpents. Look at their triangular heads, their tongue, their teeth, their seemingly lack of bones and their tails. Now in an old dusty book somewhere on my shelf, it tells what the serpent did to the earliest man.Look at your cat. Could someone mistranslated?

That’s because those “mooks” were smart enough to write it down, hence they put their spin on it. Cats failed to record their history and it died with them.

I saw a bit on one of those Something-Channel shows where a guy demonstrated how to build Stonehenge w/o modern equipment. Essentially he balanced each stone on its center of gravity and was able to easily move it around.

Humans are no more intelligent now that they were 75,000 years ago. The only thing that has changed is that at some point they wrote things down and passed information to later generations. That way things didn’t have to be rediscovered. Libraries changed the world!

While there is much written about the Israelite’s being in Egypt, there is no record in Egyptian history of their ever being there.

In a mere 50 years from now, the remnants of humanity will wonder whether it was insane “leaders” who orchestrated our downfall, or “matrix”-related machines that wanted to take over. If anyone would like to discuss that here, it will be your only chance to do so, because the technology will no longer exist then…

We know the ancient Egyptians were hyper-advanced because they deified cats. Or was it that cats deified themselves? The way they just sit and stare at you, then you find yourself giving them all sorts of treats and toys, scratching them just where they want you when they want you to, and the way they can disarm your anger just by giving you that wide-eyed “who, me?” look.

Wiley just may be onto something here…

My cat told me that the people were mummified to keep CATS company in the afterlife. It does seem odd that those meticulous record-keepers the Egyptians never once mentioned Moses or the Israelites, nor did any other nearby cultures and recorders. Only the “israelites” record the “events”. Think about the evidence of WMDs Powell presented to the U.N.– make it up, and it will be believed by those willing to “buy it”.

Isrealites? Hahaha! The Kufu, Kafre, Menkare, and the wives pyramids were built two thousand years before any isrealites were born! And those were built a thousand years after djoser built his step pyramid.

Sorry. All of this had taken place pre-Adamite.

It’s entirely possible that Isrealite slaves were used in building the pyramids. Saying “it’s a fact that they were built by the Egyptians” (sorry, spamgaard) is rather presumptuous considering how much is not “factually” certain about those ancient times.

That’s both bad history and Bible interpretation.

The Pyramids were built in the Old and Middle Kingdoms. The great pyramids were from the 4th Dynasty (About 2500s BC), while the Israelites were not around until about 1800 BC at the earliest. That means that, when they arrived, the great pyramids were already some 700+ years old.

And the Bible says nothing about building the pyramids–Exodus speaks of building supply cities (Pithom and Raamses) and work in “mortar and bricks”, not in hauling limestone (or other) stones.

All indications are that the workers on the pyramids were volunteer labor–it was an honor to work for the Pharaoh, not a burden or a punishment to be assigned to slaves.

Give the breast beating a break! I’m sure the Israelites had a part in erecting the pyramids, but the Egyptians were the people who designed and ran the show, so they should get the credit for ‘building’ the pyramids.

As I understand it, there’s no archeological evidence that the Israelites were ever in bondage in Egypt or had anything to do with the pyramids.

On the other hand, it’s a fact that cats were in ancient Egypt….
