You can come live at my house Oliver! What lazy cats the other 9 are. Beviek – funny little videos today. Cats can be so funny! Bbear – funny pictures! Some of the cat expressions are priceless.

DennisinSeattle: the “Food o’clock” is truly Calvin. Good heavens, that cat can make some “feed me” noise.

He doesn’t meow. It’s not really a chirp. I can’t describe it but I know it when I hear it.

@Beth Peterson, sorry about your beautiful dog. When I was growing up, my dad wouldn’t let us have dogs because of their “short” life spans. I later fond out that he had two beagles that he was very attached to before he got married. Good luck on your knee surgery. Remember, it won’t work if you don’t do the physical therapy afterwards.

Sorry I’ve been sorta missing lately. I’ve been sewing about 7 hours a day, getting ready for the Alberta Street Fair on the 13th. My Daughter has been averaging about 9 hrs a day! Phew.I had taken my old Pfaff sewing maching in to be serviced 3 months ago. It took them 3 months to get it back to me! Anyway I sewed on it for the last 2 weeks and Thursday the bobbin winder wouldn’t work and it began to sound like a 57 Chevy. The EXACT thing I took it in for service in the first place!I said Phooey and went out and bought a new machine! I saved $$$ by getting the floor model and got a down and dirty basic one, not the fancy one with the never used embroidery attachment like the old one!I’ll try to drop in more often, but I’m falling asleep by 10pm these days!

My project this weekend is clearing out the pantry. It’s not a food/kitchen thing, tho. It’s in the hallway. OMG – I took pictures of what I’ve done so far and frankly it’s embarrassing to see how much *&%t we have. I’m halfway done but am quitting until Brad leaves for his horse thing in Cedar this evening. He feels he needs to offer advice and criticism how I’m going about it.
