Good evning (?) ladies and gentlemen. Various messages:

JanCinVV………Here\s your brandy Alexander. Ma’am. Kinda windy out there right now, isn’t it, with the Santa Ana winds, Saw it was well over 100 down in the flat lands. Heard it hit as high as 104, and someone said it got up to 114 somewhere down there. I know it doesn’t get that hot up on the Mohave when they,re blowing. It’s when they get squeezed through the passes that they get hot.!!

Marg…… It is, if you wantr, perfectlyn alright to dance on the bar, or tables. Just don’t over do it, we want you ladies to hang out for a while!!

And a wonderful morning, and day, to all of you Vagabond Villagers. :-))))

So, did you get your kicks out of all those football games,  LW?

My hubby signed up for the “Red Zone” on Dish TV…and I actually watched most of it on Sunday……..only the play action, no boring non-action stuff, no beginning of each drive, no kick off stuff and NO COMMERCIALS….all for only 7.00/month!!!!! We watched all of Sunday’s games, and I truly enjoyed football for a change. Watched about 10 minutes of tonight’s game, and found it was boring….all the non-action stuff…..

MontanaLady, being from Chicago, I was into the Monday Night game. It was all they figured it would be. I enjoyed all of the games I could watch Sunday, too!

Slim, I could go with a Bloody Mary before I head of to the horizontal position. Please.

Slim, there’s this funny thing about the weather here in the high desert.. Many times when the Santa Ana winds are blowing “down the hill” it’s almost dead calm up here. I didn’t even know the winds were blowing down there yesterday. As for temperature, I am constantly surprised that it can be quite a bit cooler here than in Riverside and San Bernardino, or even LA. Saturday it was in triple digits at the fair and only mid 90’s here. Yesterday I had to go halfway down the hill and the temperature at Cajon Summit (the top of the pass) was 6 degrees (and about 1000 feet) higher than where I live, whereas in the winter it is usually that much cooler. Overall, it didn’t get over 99 here yesterday.

Thanks for the Brandy Alexander last night. Just the right touch of nutmeg.

I’m glad you all enjoy my drinks. As for me….. I’m glad they’re virtual rarher then real. Some of them I’ve forgotten how to make, and others I never knew how. The best part is that one can drink as many as they want without a hangover!! :-)))
