Your comment reminded me of a time when I was a tax investigator for N.Y. S. I was at a fair buying something from a vendor when I asked him why no sales tax was charged. He replied was from another state and would be home before the govt. found out. When I pulled out my badge and asked for his business license I thought he was having a heart attack.As you said you never know to whom you’re talking to!
