My first introduction to Andy was in Irish newspapers, back about that time, that my granddad had sent to him from Portadown, in the ‘ole country’.

Thank you for the article. When we were in England in ‘68, bought a paperback book of Andy Capp. Entitled something or other like In the Dustbin. Don’t know whatever happened to it.
