The Olympics IS about bringing the world together for unity under sport. Now if we could just convince the NBC groups that countries other than the US winning medals Is legitimate, and some of us would like to see those events, and medal awards not going to US folks.
DypakI don’t, but it is not because of a protest. With millions watching, my absence won’t be noticed. Online protests, as weak as it is, is far more effective. A giant antenna, capable of at least reaching CBC, if not Europe and Latin America, would be the only solution, and there zoning restrictions come into play. My sports are backpacking, kayak surfing, and camping – hardly TV subjects. I once studied kendo, but even Japanese venues don’t make it an experimental sport, despite its qualification in number of nations with organized competition, etc.
