Yes, poor Donny is the victim. He isn’t responsible for anything he says or does; it’s all the media’s fault. The same the media that has given him by some estimates $3 billion of free air time. I love how conservatives live up to the idea of taking responsibility.
The media layed his bar on the floor for him a long, long, time ago, and then gave him billions in campaign contributions with all their free coverage of his every move.
Ms. Benson claims her comics have a “dollop of common sense”, but I’m not seeing any common sense lately. Such as this one. Mr. Trump’s main opponent is himself.
Oh my goodness, we’re supposed to feel sorry for Trump? The clown who got all the free media attention he needed to destroy the other Republican candidates? That clown? And now when acting like a clown isn’t enough, it’s the media’s fault. No, folks. Blame the clown, not the messenger.
The media are no longer objective, & the more they bash Trump by pulling stuff out of context, the more people begin turning off their TV’s & will be voting Trump. They skate with Clinton, & she has not held a press conference in almost 300 days now. We are a nation of law, & we see the law not being followed by Democrats. People are not stupid, & Trump is not the most eloquent, albeit he is colorful, but he is real people, & his kids are very, very well grounded. I feel that middle class America, no matter what your affiliation is, will be voting Trump because we have lost so much under Obama & the Dems. Our homes, jobs & savings, along with very expensive mandated, & high premium health insurance, are desperate, & we will do anything to get our country rolling again.
Check how high the bar would be if:- he had been in public life for several decades with a record of serving the under-privileged;- he was the spouse of an effective but politically targeted President who made some personal mistakes;- he had run for political office, won, served effectively, and was re-elected;- he had served a presidency in a high profile, internationally sensitive position and retired with high ratings;- he helped establish a philanthropic organization that raised multi-millions from the internationally powerful and rich for poor and underprivileged populations around the world; - he was the subject of non-stop political attacks, lies, innuendo, and numerous congressional politically motivated investigations which had to conclude he was not guilty;- he was targeted by a powerful media machine whose goal was to brand him as crooked and a liar with non-stop media coverage;- he had thousands of his business correspondence and emails released to the public and the media to scrutinize for incriminating or embarrassing information so as to attack him and defeat him; - he was on the verge of winning political office that would shape political direction for decades. .……now THAT would be a high bar.
They had to lower this bar for poor Trump. After Clinton had to clear the high media bar, they lowered it for him, now get the ladder to help him over.
This is the first time Benson has actually used Trump in her toon since the RNC convention, and she’s doing the same thing he does – tries to bully people into thinking he’s the victim. Sad.
Trump directly accused President Obama of being the “founder” of ISIS, and “Crooked” Hillary Clinton as being the co-founder. This is still pure, unutterable lies, plain pure and simple. The creation of Daesh can be laid at the feet of only one place, the Bush-Cheney death cabal and their loyal lackeys.
The creation of ISIS took place in 2003-2004.
The sole demon in the creation of Daesh was the disastrous Bush-Cheney decision of deBaathification.
The Iraqi army was a state organ, every member had to be a Baath party member. This was a large army. Many of the members were veterans of not just one but two wars against the United States. It was purged by Paul Bremer on behalf of Bush and Cheney. Suddenly, almost overnight thousands and thousands of highly trained, seasoned veteran Iraqi soldiers and officers were thrown into the street, with no job, no way to feed or support their families and no future.
This was the genesis of ISIS. They were filled with a hatred for the U.S. and western democracies and a thirst for revenge on the government that discarded them. It only took a couple of inspirational firebrands to unite them to a new cause, jihad. Most of the senior commanders of ISIS, and by some reports their top leader are all senior Iraqi military men. It should have been a sure tip off to the Iraqi military when these guys showed up in identical dress, marching in precise, tactical positions that this was not some local rabble out to pick a fight. In the early days it turned out that ISIS was better trained and prepared than the actual Iraqi military, and they routed them all along the line. As a world we are still paying the dues for the Bush-Cheney decision, and so are the people of Iraq.
One has to give credit where credit is due: It should have been a slam dunk to find a person who could beat HRC. All it would take is honesty, integrity, intelligence, morals and a knowledge of history. But the GOP gave us Trump, and that took real talent.
All the media does is report Trump’s own words…I guess they were all supposed to do like the folks on Morning Joke did and pitch him softballs. If you can’t stand the heat…………..STFU

If that bar was laying flat on the ground Trump would still trip over it.
