Good morning,everybody.

I’m still here and reading every day but not posting much. Been busy with a project but I finished yesterday. Now I have a new one to start on.

This is the neighborhood alpha tomcat I call “Big Orange”. He walks up and down the street like he owns the place. A few days ago, I watched him climb up a few branches high into one of the trees in my yard. Yesterday, he walked up onto my porch and stretched out to nap in the shade in the 88 degree afternoon heat.

I’m here too, I’ve decided to go to bed early a couple of days a week.*Queen*’I sewed 8 cat mats yesterday, I’ll get them in the mail. I’ve finished all the product I had to have in order to get my Etsy shop open, so I have a few days to relax and sew for the kitties!

Yellow tabby’s are indicative of an old cat population and are the dominant cat.. “Big Orange" is very well named.

In an alternative Universe…….

I took a client that I have never been assigned to before shopping this morning.She wanted to go to Goodwill as well as going shopping. The bunny in the left I picked up at an antique mall sometime in the past. It just seemed, some how, better than the run-of-the-mill small ceramic. It even has a serial number printed on the bottom. The bunny on the right I found today. It has a tag, AND the same serial number as the first bunny.The tag says, Lefton’s and the number is H880. A quick look at EBay ins I find that each bunny alone is worth about $10 and as a pair they are worth about $30.I don’t remember what I paid for the first one. Not much, I’m sure. I paid $3.99 for the second.Not bad, I think.

I’m here too…if only to glance, as my family arrived Monday…leaving tonight…looking forward to a good night’s sleep, my refrigerator space back (don’t ask), and sleeping later than 4:45am. I missed my TC family enormously! Will post a pic tomorrow.
