Miss Plainwell: I guess getting your drawstring in a wet gordian knot is one way to make the summer last longer. Frazz: Or make your swimsuit last less long, if you recall how the gordian knot story ends.
well cotton stays but the other stuff…
Turn him to any cause of policy, The Gordian Knot of it he will unloose, Familiar as his garter— Shakespeare, Henry V, Act 1 Scene 1. 45–47
Did someone cleave the knot with his sword? Considering where the knot is makes Frazz a brave chap.
And good thing that the knot occurred when he was trying to take a shower, not when he was in there for a more urgent requirement.
To everyone who thanked me yesterday, you’re welcome, glad to help. I swim fairly regularly and luckily haven’t had that problem for a long time.
i didn’t think anyone tied those drawstrings in the first place
Cut it. They’re not too difficult to replace.
Well, the first three panels alone would give a very different reason for being in the shower so long.
I personally think it’s about the swim suit’s knot, but I’ll admit he does have that “turning Japanese” look going on.
