A lot of people don’t know that the astrological system used by western astrologers was never updated since it was developed during the ancient Babylonian period. The precession of equinoxes has shifted the apparent positions of the constellations back two full positions since then. So, the sun no longer appears at 0 degrees Aries on spring equinox, which is the foundation of the entire system. Instead, it appears a few degrees into Aquarius at that time. It was already appearing in Pisces at spring equinox during the time of the Roman Empire. The astrologers don’t care that their system is thousands of years out of date. They’ll just say that their astrological signs are not the same as the constellations when you confront them about it. There’s a thing called sidereal astrology that does try to actually base itself on what appears in the sky, but the western astrologers don’t care about that either. The whole system is completely irrational, based on an imagined position of stars and planets that can be invalidated based on direct observation. All you have to do is actually look up at the sky, for heaven’s sake.

As an old Capricorn, I vanish into the horizon long before 1:30 am!
