I think Petey has cut to the essence of the play.

That’s the most neutral clap I’ve ever seen.

What a lot of clap.

What happened to the bucket head dad that was in front of him?

I’m so loving Petey’s take on this situation!

Petey has a clear understanding of the situation.

Anyone else think Miss Bliss’s hair is slowly deflating?

This whole arc is adorable. So realistic. I remember watching my sister’s school play wind to just such a close.

This is typical of Thompson’s genius, but his art is so striking that I never found convincing the panels where he’s trying to draw like Petey.

Might have been a more effective song with a Banjo Man!

My own take on the play matches my Spirit Animal Petey’s! I like his bemused reaction to the parental enthusiasm for this blissful production!

Petey’s gettin’ an A+ on this comic for sure!
