    Los Angeles cemented their river and the really big rain came and flooded downtown and all the down-stream creeks and caused a lot of damage in the middle ’40s

    Then there’s the Fleet river in London, it was paved over decades ago and now no one knows where it actually is, they just know that it’s there somewhere.
