Lupin: We may have an ally at the dinner table! Elvis: Lupin, ordinarily we're not given table scraps, even though it's well know we are all good boys who deserve treats. But now it seems we have an inside guy. Woman: Elvis! Off the table! Puck: Elvis, the Toddler only wants two things. "1. Be our best friend. 2. Never eat dinner." Oh, whiskers-this is a green bean. Toddler: Potato, mom cat! Puck: I would like some ham. Toddler: Is potato. More potato. Puck: Ham, please. Toddler: This. Puck: This is a napkin. Toddler: This. Puck: A battery. I'm pretty sure neither of us is supposed to have this. Man: Whatcha got there, Pucky?

Oh dear, a battery! How did he get his hands on that?! And Mom Cat?? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Poor Pucky . . first the lady bug costume at Halloween, then this! It’s probably due to his gentleness that the Toddler has ascribed femininity to him. And I love that chart explaining what the Toddler wants: 1) Be their best friend 2) Never eat dinner. (sigh) He’s at that stage where eating dinner is a chore due to pickiness. ;)

Some cats actually like a green bean or a couple of peas as treats! I had a cat who really loved cantalope and would be in the sink eating the seeds if we didn’t dispose of them promptly.

My Siamese loved to play with raw green beans and would fetch them until he was done and then stuff them under the sofa where they would dry nicely.
