Breaking Cat News by Georgia Dunn for September 25, 2016
Transcript:
Lupin: There's a hole in the wall we can't reach, but beed to catch. Puck: Lupin, I'm here where the hole is just maddeningly out of reach. We go now live to Elvis on a book shelf. Elvis: Thanks Puck. This bookshelf is just a little too high and I am furious. Lupin: Puck, any word on what made the hole? Puck: Based on its size, we assume a nail, but there's no way to be certain until we can pry the hole off the wall, bite it several times, and study it further. Lupin: Have you tried yelling at it? Puck: Of course! Elvis: Onward, Lamp! Lupin: Hey! Puck: Hey! Elvis: No, LAMP, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Lupin: Hey! Puck: Hey!

If tomorrow is another rerun, I’m going to scream at the top of my lungs. I’m serious.

I for one am enjoying the re-runs, and I wish Georgia all the best in getting fully published. :)

In the meantime, look, and I mean really look at the art in these comics. It is gorgeous! The expressions, and the colors. I especially love the colors. These comics are works of art.

It will probably be many more weeks before Georgia has time to focus on new strips. According to her website Facebook https://www.facebook.com/GeorgiaDunnStudio , she is now putting together her package to try to get syndicated. If anyone wants to be helpful to her, she is requesting over on Facebook that readers send her little summaries of why they read BCN.We all need to remember the ominous fact that she said over on the website that if she doesn’t get syndicated, she will have to go jobhunting. What a waste of talent that would be! (And would probably mean the comic would end).

I just plan to keep enjoying the strip for as long as it lasts.

I only discovered BCN recently ,I don’t own the book and I have been delighted at a chance to catch up. The art work is a visual joy and she really has a genius for illustrating group catitude

love the older strips. I hope that after the new ones start, we can also enjoy the older ones. Peanuts and a few others run both old and new.

“Onward, Lamp!” What constantly amazes and delights me in reviewing the old strips is how fresh they are. I’ve seen them all before and am still amazed. “No, Lamp! What are you doing?”

Every time I reread these comics I spot some little detail I had missed before.

I am enjoying every second of the reruns. As long as I see BCN every day, I am a very contented woman!!! Take your time Georgia. I love every second I spend perusing your strip!

I can relate to this strip…..my two kittens have spent the better part of this morning trying to capture a nail hole in the wall. I won’t tell them about using the lamp….

Even though it is a repeat, I enjoy the watercolor artwork of her strips.
