Puck was deeply moved enough to write Sophie a sweet note. We’re all paper towels and origami envelopes!

Some people don’t get it. Real artists work with what they have and what they can get.

Ignore those who would pull you down, for they are jealous. Listen to those who support you for they have faith in you.

Ah, she not only kept the card, but made the envelope into a paper swan!It’s amazing how many people think that the anonymity of the internet is a license to (what’s a nice word?) REVILE people for sharing a part of themselves with us. Even if that’s what you really think, is it really necessary to share that with anybody, much less the person who is taking the risk and sharing it for free?Thankfully, many people (like Georgia) can look past the criticism and focus on the good and keep doing what they love. In the process, they provide joy to so many.Thank you to all who do this.

She allready mentioned she works with what she had available in a previous strip, and tbh you can´t please everyone in the world, so unless it is constructive just do what you think is well.

I’ve been reading your comic for a while now, Georgia, and I’m embarrassed to say that this is the first time I have noticed that Sophie has heterochromia. Very cool!

One of my favorite artists uses wherever he can find. I have a number of his pieces made from wood from old torn down barns, stone and rusty metal.

Keep up the good work

in addition to the detail of Puck’s note and the origami-d envelope, I love the other details—like Sophie’s ears as she progressively reads the destructive notes and their rebound when she gets to Puck’s!

It’s cute that she’s using foil now in the last panel. Different medium and crinkle sounds. What more could a kitty artist ask for?

One of my favorite artists works in watercolor and cat foibles:). This one never fails to make my eyes leak. Sophie is so mean to Tommy, and can seem so aloof, but I can see how sensitive she really is. Just look at those ears, gradually getting droopier and droopier-you can just feel her sadness. Then, a short note, and she is lifted. Magnificent use of just a few brush strokes. And good recycling of the envelope.

Trust sweet sensitive Puck to know just what she needed.

I LOVE the comments page for this strip. I have been following it for the past couple of years and I don’t recall ever seeing a truly hurtful comment!

One nice comment cheered her up!! Those who can create art do so – those who cant critise! Listen to Puck – he knows!

All the critical, mean notes are in the trash – which is right where they belong! Doesn’t Tommy’s (or Thomas, as Sophie calls him) expression radiate pure joy? I’m printing this one out to keep on hand for those days when I need a little encouragement, too!
