Babies do look like potatoes. (Though mine looked like a much prettier potato than most other babies. Including yours.)

But in frame 5 has Lupin noticed something else about the baby, or is he just making a rude gesture in response to what Elvis is saying?

Poor jealous Elvis . . . he’ll get over it once he finds a common ground with the Baby as Puck has done. ;-)

Lupin is warning Elvis the Woman is coming.

It’s interesting how much Elvis’s opinion changed by the time the second baby came along.

Elvis loves the Woman. Obviously he is inclined to like little girls as well! if you have already followed the comic, you will see how paternal he becomes over a little rescued girl kitten.

I always thought that Lupin was pointing out that the woman was starting to nurse the baby. It’s probably not something that they’d seen before…

I thought Lupin was commenting on how Elvis got burned by Puck’s comment.
