First Tommy rescues Elvis, now Elvis rescues Tommy! Love Elvis’ triumphant expression in the last panel!

From “Elvis the Hater” to “Elvis the Hero”! I always love reading this story!

Tommy is going home.

Once Tommy gets home he will get out to go visit Elvis! One of my cats, a handsome black male with a white bowtie, is I/O.Everyone in the neighborhood knows him as he is very friendly, and they call him the king of Bungalow Lane (name of private road behind the house), because of his regal walk as he goes about his visits.

Ma’am? Ma’am! I can totally hear them all. This is so wonderful, I can hardly stand it. [Grinning and rubbing hands together in glee.]

I love Elvis’s happy expression in the last panel, but I also love his little worried face in panel 6 when he’s trying to reach down for the paper he just dropped.

To all newbies here: This wonderful story arc will finish tomorrow. I suggest having a box of Kleenex handy…

I’m just glad his people are so quick on the uptake. But then, they’re cat people, so they must be smart!
