I thought I remembered this arc. It’s clearly a subtle metaphor for a certain legal/social issue that was finally settled in this country (the US) a little over 14 months ago.
I’d allow it, if only because it doesn’t mean much legally. He already has visitation rights to himself. There won’t be any alimony issues. And there’s no law against him…consummating the marriage, if you will.
