@NealHad to do catch up reading several days worth of TC and just saw your picture of Willy, post eye surgery. May I commend you for looking out for this wonderful little furball. Here’s hoping he finds his forever home soon as there ARE those out there who see beyond a disability. Bless you and please continue to post updates on ‘our’ boy.
Max did not ‘try to move into our house’, he arrived, and it was as if he plunked his luggage on the floor and stayed for years. He was such a sweet ole boy that we were delighted that he chose us after living in the neighborhood on his own for two years. Always did say that volunteers and rescues are the best cats.
Yes, if you are going to put my picture on a wanted poster, please make it a good picture! I love all the wanted posters today – funny! I enjoyed watching Milo and Otis – I never realized it took so long to make. bbear – funny pictures today Love the duck cat and frosting face.
Is this your cat? That’s how my family got a cat years ago. Except we knew who he belonged to – our next door neighbors. We had several cats of our own, but this black cat (whose name was Ebony) did not want to live with the neighbors. I don’t know if it was because they were smokers or because they fed him cheap generic cat food or because they had a dog or because they teased him or what, but he started escaping their house on a regular basis (he wasn’t supposed to go out) and he’d just walk in our house like he owned the place. We reluctantly put him out, telling him he doesn’t live here, but eventually, we tired of putting him out and we let him stay. He’d sit in the living room window looking out at his owners house (and them outside). Before long, they moved away and left him behind. The live-in boyfriend told me shortly before they moved that he was more our cat than theirs. And it was true. That scrawny cat grew well on our better quality cat food. I renamed him Pest because he was always underfoot. I had considered Tanglefoot for a name, but decided that would be too long and clumsy a name if I wanted to call to him. He was a sweet loving cat and I’m glad he adopted us. You could just make eye contact with him from across the room and he would start t o purr. Oh, how I miss that cat!

My precious cat Boo Bear loved Milo and Otis. She would hear the music playing and run into the run to sit watching transfixed until it was over.

Good morning to all. Yum Yum brought home an extremely vexed cicada again this morning.
