I look and see a glass on a table with water in it which will fall off the table, spill the water,and break and I will have to clean it up. Does that make me a realist or a real pessimist.

You see a glass of water on the table that you KNOW is going to fall off and break and yet you do nothing to stop it. It doesn’t make you an optimist, a pessimist or a realist. And I’m not sure that you can figure out what you are, but I know and I’m not going to say it. Everyone else knows!
