sguzman - I disagree. I’m the only one married out of my family of 5 kids, and I’m the youngest at 51. Two of them have been married, but only 3 months per marriage. Our (now deceased) parents picked me to handle their estate, etc. I just thought it was because I did accounting for a living before becoming a mom. Now that I’m handling their estate, I’m seeing aspects of my siblings I didn’t really realize before. My sister can hold onto her money, but is terribly disorganized. (Lost a couple of checks for $1000 each!) All of our brothers go through money like water through their fingers. None of them seem very responsible to me, or to anyone else who is privy to the details.

You can still be young and foolish when you’re married. Don’t be nervous, Claire.
I thought he was about to propose in those first couple of panels.

No, you don’t have to be mature because you’re married - but it would certainly help!

If you are mature and responsible you will never be married!!
