You can have your free speech. However when I find what you say offensive, I have every right to speak in rebuttal..Though when I see it on the left and in colleges, they outright ban Republicans or conservatives, protest in the middle of it, heckle, and do not allow that voice to be heard. There is a difference..Both sides of view are equally important. Yet I see the left call for boycott and protest anything they don’t like. Like the twit mayor of NYC calling for a boycott of Chic-fil-A and the lines being out the door and around the corner..This moron in SF that has made millions of dollars for throwing a ball around only gets to do that because he lives in the United States. Does he intend to not take a paycheck too? Otherwise he is a hypocrite..I love free speech. I will DIE for your right to have free speech, but don’t you dare stand up and tell me that if I don’t like what you said that I can’t tell you so. That is free speech. That lowlife piece of human waste named Larry Flint once said “Freedom of speech protects the speech you don’t like.” Very true.

Left PC is not calling people racially insensitive language. Right PC is not calling a gun and “assault riffle” (they really whine as much as a liberal hearing you use the n-word)

Interesting that the people who vow never to watch a 49er’s game again because a player didn’t stand up to listen to a song didn’t make that vow when some of the team’s players were exposed as being having committed domestic violence. And look at all the people who continue to watch “their” teams (as we know, the teams are owned by corporate welfare queens and will jump cities at the slightest pretext) when some of their players turn out to be rapists or even murderers. True, by that point they would be “former” players…….Why simple-minded people can’t understand that the constitution is infinitely more important than either a song or a flag (or a bald eagle) completely baffles me.

Another false equivalency. The paper the guy is reading delineates the methods by which dissenting speech is silenced, the paper the woman is reading merely details the natural repercussion of taking controversial stands. No one took away Kapernick’s right to take his stand, the masses are letting him know that he’s an ungrateful child.

Not outraged, just won’t buy anything with his name on it. He has the right to do what he wants. We have the right to not to patronize him or the 49’s.

the only good thing to come out of this is that the publicity has forced him to donate a tiny part of his wealth to help. if and where he sends it will be the proof of his “sincerity”.
