    I recently posted about this elsewhere….saying a lot of those calligraphy tattoos turn out to be fake …Or a tattoo artist somewhere, knowing no Chinese, changes a line or a shape, and destroys the meaning….Even if they really are Chinese words, they might very well mean “stupid foreigner,”“vapid platitude,” or “Your name here”.

    @SusanSunshine @Bruno Zeigerts Not the point of today’s strip but a valid reason to not get a tattoo in a foreign language (or syllabet in this case).

    I have told my kid that if he ever comes home with a tattoo, he is grounded for the duration of the tattoo.
