I recently posted about this elsewhere….saying a lot of those calligraphy tattoos turn out to be fake …Or a tattoo artist somewhere, knowing no Chinese, changes a line or a shape, and destroys the meaning….Even if they really are Chinese words, they might very well mean “stupid foreigner,”“vapid platitude,” or “Your name here”.

@SusanSunshine @Bruno Zeigerts Not the point of today’s strip but a valid reason to not get a tattoo in a foreign language (or syllabet in this case).

I have told my kid that if he ever comes home with a tattoo, he is grounded for the duration of the tattoo.

You haven’t seen “ART” until you have seen a really old tattoo . Not a pretty sight.

You can’t be a nonconformist unless you wear the uniform…..

so how many has he done for “Sweet and Sour Pork” (or similar)

“Stupid white girl buy this.”

We are all unique there are lots of us we are the most prevalent minority—-being one-of-a-kind.

Always remember—you are a unique individual, just like everybody else.
