As long as Sluggo isn’t disruptive, what difference does it?

Now, in our local library, it’s just a place where people come to spend the day surfing the internet. There is a waiting line for the available desktops, and people who bring their own laptops for the wireless internet are using all the other tables.

There is a lot of talking, and kids are left to wander through the library. It opens about an hour after working people go to their jobs, and closes about the time we are getting off work. And it is closed Saturday and Sunday.

In the rare occasions that I get an opportunity to go in and get a book, I get out as quickly as I can. The longest part is waiting in the line for the one librarian/clerk to attend to me, usually behind a line of people wanting to get in the queue for the next available internet terminal.

Learn how to use the “self checkout” station which they must have if they’re set for patrons to use the Internet. Then go into the Quiet Room to read.

    Go Sluggo.

Hey but what does the librarian care, as long as Sluggo isn’t noisy or sleeping.
