verne: A total solar eclipse is coming next august 21st. rj: let me check my calendar. rj: no can do. spa day. verne: RJ, eclipses are astronomical marvels!...the moon passes between us and the sun turning day into night! rj: so i could shoot off fireworks in the middle of the day? Verne: I guess... rj: Fireworks or seaweed wrap? who can decide? hammy: me! me! fireworks and seaweed wrap!! bunny: I'm in! verne: I'm out.

For a coon that prides himself on his laziness, RJ sure does keep a tight schedule. Must be at the spa the 3rd Monday of every month, come hell or high water.

The last time that I wrapped fireworks in seaweed then set them of it got kind of messy…

I saw the last eclipse, in 1979. I’m good. My parents went off to see the Hawaiian eclipse. They took a bus tour away from the hotel to get a better look, but wound up in clouds. The maids back at the hotel saw it all.
