The original Tarzan series was written in the early 1900’s and still represented Victorian/Edwardian attitudes towards hunting. We are more sensitive to such things now.

That’s probably the reason Tarzan hates lions so much. They have tawny backs.

Well, I was wrong about the spear missing, but correct about the hand to paw fighting. Yet, another lion killed. I’ll bet no one saw that coming…yawn.
