Had a Tercel. Windows down, things in the seats, no one ever bothered.Had a 911 Porsche. Target of every car door and shopping cart within a mile.Tercel outlived the Porsche.
Have a 1971 VW bus. Door handle is broken, so I have to reach in through the vent window and open it from inside. I have the parts to fix it, but why ruin the fun?
comicsssfanOld French, and it is a male falcon. The etymology comes from either that it is 1/3 smaller than the female (which is properly called falcon), or the belief that one out of three hatchlings will be male. There is no statistical support for the claim, not that such details negate the etymology; people will believe almost anything and even incorporate it in their language.
