well, this is going to sound like a depressing story arc

I thought she & Nora were in the same class room. How is it that she is just finding out now?

Perhaps she’ll realize her attitude with others is why she has no friends.

While I’d like to think this is her first step on the path to humility and tolerance for the shortcomings of others, I doubt it. Am sure instead that the “bully” (aka the guy who Gracie physically attacked after being teased, a behaviour Gracie cheerfully does to those she feels are beneath her) will see the light and realize that she is a shining example to us all.

Been there. At my university dining room. I couldn’t find anyone I knew (not just a single person like her.)~Nothing more lonely than being alone in a crowded room.

This was impossible at my school. Not enough tables, and the tables were designed for 8-10 kids at each one. You were almost inevitably stuck with people you didn’t like if you didn’t have your own clique, like in “Mean Girls.”
