C’mon, lighten up, Alice! Your talent didn’t develop out of thin air.

Dad could do his yodeling duck! I am really surprised Mom had this in her.

I’m not. Madeline has a wonderful, playful side.

Ha! I haven’t heard that song since 1964!

I’m guessing that we are probably the lead time out from his passing away, so the stuff we see now, was drawn and written around the time of his death.

I wish I’d had a mum cut from the same cloth as Madeline.

Judged on ability to fulfill their primary function of embarrassing their children, they’re excellent parents.

I have my Dad’s old “Sing Along With Mitch” album which includes “Be Kind to Your Webfooted Friends”. While Templo is right and the melody is right out of Sousa’s best march, they had a little fun with it:

It’s cute when cute when kids dance on the manhole. Scary when a parent does it and eerie if a grandparent does it.

Madeline is so cool!

You are luckier than the average kid, Alice, because being embarrassed by your mother is neat, rather than the just plain “embarrassing”(-period) that most others endure!
