I remember seeing this one originally in Black & White>

Adding color certainly gives i depth.

“Whole world” is just beyond one’s nose, not the whole picture.

“Wonder what happened to the Devil? He was supposed to go look at it with me.”

Everywhere else, there be dragons………

Reminds me a bit of the end of “The Gods Must be Crazy”, where the hero thinks he’s come to the edge of the world.
