Just saying, I LOVE Spirit of the Staircase! The art is great, and the strips are funny. Don’t listen to anyone who complains about the size of the strips.

Though this is about an android not a robot. All androids are robots, all robots are not androids.

I have a character that is a female android, one that is a common house hold model modified with military specs for an unknown reason. The stories are about her finding out who she is and why she is the way she found herself. In a way it goes back to my reading Asimov’s robot stories.

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey orders given to it by a human being except where such orders would conflict with the first law. That is done in ink with a very fine point. Looks dipped ink too. Why the width varies. Enlarging it helps greatly. Well worth it.

In reviewing the website (BTW, if anyone’s interested, the comics are shown at their proper size on the site) I noticed that it has a couple strips that GoComics does not…not sure why. It seems sort of random.

I am hoping you succeed as a comic here on GoComics!!!! I have glanced through several of the posts, and for me, the drawing style (especially in the black and white images is uncomfortably too narrow penned for me, so I will pass at adding it to my daily read. But, I do wish you well and hoe that you find a wide audience!

This is a great comic strip and I look forward to reading it every day. But nothings been posted for quite some time now, I hope everything is all right!
