Before anyone asks, these two boys are Franklin and Roy, and they live across town in Peppermint Patty’s neighborhood. Roy is the one in the sailor cap and shorts.

Well now mom, what’s in your glove compartment that you don’t want to get out, at 70 mph on the highway?

My Volvo 240 has a glove box that when you hit a good bump while driving will release it’s catch and come crashing down. It can really startle you!

If mom worries about that scenario, I can’t imagine how she manages the worry over really big things that are worth worrying about.

Seriously, Franklin? That’s what she worries about?

Strange strip, with none of the major characters. If you were just given the dialogue, you would think it would be Chuck talking to Linus.Roy is a fun character. No memorable other than introducing Peppermint Patty to the strip.

Besides that, she can never know for sure that she turned the stove off……….

Worrying is in a mother’s job description.

I got another lovely text saying where my blood donation had gone. I can’t post a pic but it said “Thank you so much for donating on 8-Nov. Your donation has now been issued to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle. Every donation counts” Newcastle is one of my local cities. Are you proud of me? I love getting these texts. My next appointment is already booked.
